Press release - Nursery opening

Brand-New Nursery Opening in Diss

New family run nursery launching from September 2024.

19th April 2024 – Diane and Emily over the moon as mother-daughter duo announce the opening of their brand-new day nursery. Their nursery will provide all-year-round childcare for local families from September 2024. Rainbows Day Nursery, located on Diss Business Park is undergoing extensive refurbishment and will be able to offer up to 100 spaces for local children from aged 6 weeks to 5 years.

Their vision is to foster a loving and nurturing environment, where children feel inspired to learn and develop to the best of their ability.

The nursery has three separate classrooms, each tailored to accommodate the needs of different age groups while supporting their learning and development. It offers on-site parking, outdoor gardens, and on-site catering facilities where nutritious meals and snacks will be provided for throughout the day.

Diane and daughter Emily jumped at the opportunity to set up Rainbows Day Nursery after spotting a gap in the local market. Diane has a wealth of experience having worked in schools and outstanding rated nurseries for over 25 years. More recently, she has experience working as a neonatal nurse providing support for families both in hospital and the wider community. Emily’s passion for business and finance means it was the perfect choice to combine their skill sets. When the opportunity came up, the local residents knew they had to go for it.

Diane Pilsbury-Gaunt, Co-owner and Nursery Manager said: "We are so proud to be able to offer this much needed facility to the community. We’ve had an overwhelming amount of interest demonstrating the indisputable need. Once complete, the refurbishment will provide a first-class learning environment where the children can grow and develop with the support of our excellent nursery team. Our nursery team have been carefully selected to feel part of an extended family with the children’s happiness at the forefront."

“Our investment is significant, but I believe the value of quality childcare is especially important and we’re committed to ensuring we can deliver that in our nursery.”
